Working from home during a time of emergency: Why does lack of movement worsen anxiety – and how do we change it?

Since the start of the security situation, many of us have been working from home. Going outside has been reduced, daily movement has almost disappeared, and prolonged time spent in front of screens has increased.

At the same time – the level of alertness has increased. Alarms, constant news and uncertainty activate the stress system again and again.
The result: less movement + more stress.
